2 SECORD AVENUE TENANT'S ASSOCIATION - FUNDRAISER 2011


On July 28, 2008 the building at 2 Secord Avenue experienced a hydro vault explosion and all the tenants were evacuated from their homes, unable to return for almost two months. Since then they have been rebuilding both physically and emotionally and the Tenants' Association has a mandate to continue to build a vibrant thriving community.
Hosting such fundraising events as the CommunityFest & Carnival held on Saturday, jULY16th, 2011, with proceeds going toward the 2 Secord Tenants' Association and the 90 Eastdale Tenants' Association (the sister building around the corner), the 2 Secord Tennants Association will be able to bring the community the 2nd Annual Hallowe'en Haunt and 2nd annual Christmas Festivities and increase monthly senior's/adult activities and continue to build community in the neighbourhood.
