Hi John,

I would like to thank you for ensuring that the Scooter rental for my mom, which was awaiting for us at the Renaissance Downtown was such a great success. The machine was very easy for her to use while on our Family vacation in Toronto. Thank you very much for the great service and I will spread the word for anyone who is travelling in the Toronto area to give your company a call.

"After searching the electric scooter market across Vancouver Island, I  was unable to find anything more substantial than "plastic wrapped around a battery".  I've taken a chance on a rugged unit from Mobilityunlimited in Ontario called the Urban Cruiser.  It was the closest I could come to a cross between a golf cart and a scooter.  It drives like a tank.  I don't know where they get the idea that if you're handicapped you don't want a roof and a windshield.  When we had two inches of snow, it didn't stop me at all - even the snow that was piled up at the edge of the road.  I didn't want to take it in anything too deep though, because I've only got six inches of ground clearance, including the 1,200 watt motor and transaxle.  On Monday I drove it up the hill to Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire, back home, then over to Rehabilitation in Motion in South Port and back, on half a charge.

In my electric wheelchair, that would have taken me five hours."

I would be remiss if I did not mention the excellent service and response I received both during the purchase of this machine and during the telephone conversation in which I explained the minor problem I encountered.  Other company's service departments could learn lessons from you.

Girl Power!

My daughter in grad school loves her new e-bike. She is never late and gets hooted at by every male aged 4 to 24. She says they are admiring her quiet ride; I am not so sure.

Dear Mr. De Marco
I am writing this letter to let you know, both my wife and I really love this bike, it is a great little machine to say the least. We managed to make it home with no trouble and enjoyed the ride home.
However, there is one thing that some how could be improved and that is the pedals, I tested the need to pedal the e-bike and found that you really have to do the splits as the frame is wide that would account for the difficulty when pedaling the bike, on a Rating of 1 -10, I would have to rate it at 8. I would have rated it at 9 if it weren’t for the pedals.
Over all it is a great little machine and we are very happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone for the ease of operating it.
I also would like to thank you, John De Marco, for your patience and help as well as your staff for their instructions and courtesy. If anyone inquires about my machine and where I bought it, I will refer them to your location. Further if any perspective buyer thinks this letter is a fake, you can give them my name and number to back up this letter.
If there are any new or improvements with the E-Bikes, I would like to receive the info for the future.
Again, many thanks to one and all.
Yours Truly,
John Johnston

Dear John,

Just a short note to thank you for your excellent service in making repairs to my golf cart.

It’s a real pleasure to deal with a company that is truly interested in serving their clients, especially in this case where the problem was a little design flaw on the part of the manufacturer and in no way your fault.

I will be more than happy to recommend your firm at every opportunity and I wish you well for the balance of the year.

Yours truly

Hi John!
I love it! I love being able to finally get out and about I can't put into words how happy I am right now so thank you so very much. Everyone is commenting on it. A few people have asked me where I got it. If you send me a scan or picture of your business card I can print some off and that way hand them out as I am driving around.
I went yesterday to the feed mill to get propane. I have had a barbecue for a couple of months and couldn't figure out how to get it. The girl that served me was about 23 and she even said she would drive one around. I went and had it insured yesterday not that I am going to hit anyone just in case someone steals it.
The first time I drove it I got it stuck in snow and the man putting in the windows had to give me a push and then laughed...! All the snow in front of the shed has since melted so that won't happen again, I hope!
When I can get someone to take a picture of me and Jellie on it I will send it to you. I sewed a pillow that fits in the basket part and took her for a little ride and she just loved it. She keeps going to the stairs and I know she is asking for another ride which is going to happen here very shortly.
I can't tell you how wonderful this is! I can finally get out and so can Jellie!
So thank you very very much.

On a friend's recommendation, I recently purchased an e-bike from Mobilityunlimited.  From the first moment that I walked into the store I have been treated with courtesy and respect by John and Svend.  They are both knowledgeable and very honest, answering all of my questions with clarity and patience.  I use my e-bike to get to and from my office every day, at a cost of less than 10¢ a day, and then look for excuses to use it on weekends and when I am on vacation hanging out in the city.

Automobile drivers are more respectful of e-bikes than ordinary bikes, even when I am passing twenty-five or more of them backed up at main intersections.  Those who have never test driven one do not know what they are missing.

I have something more to add to the list of things to review: Customer Service.
I have some experience with Blue Avenue, Daymak and MobilityUnlimited. Blue Avenue has by far the worst service. I wanted to look at one of the bikes and even purchase one that day and the salesman told me to come in. Once there he said he was too busy to serve me because he just got an order and had to assemble a bike. He told me to come back another day!!!!! I hate to see how much time he has to fix something if he is too busy to even sell a bike.
I bought one from MobilityUnlimited and I have to say these guys have the best customer service in any industry. After purchasing one and a few days of biking, I got stranded in Lakeshore and 4th street (25 km from the store). I had a bad connection or something. The guy came at 8 am to my rescue and put the bike in his pickup and drove me to work. After work my bike was fixed, charged, and ready to go. I have since then put 2,000 km on it and no problems at all. Also I wanted to modify the bike to put more batteries in it. The warranty said it would be void if I changed anything but I talked to the engineer they have (and he is really knowledgeable not just a salesman) and I showed him my schematics and drawings. He agreed with me and said it won’t void warranty. I now get 80 km from one charge easily (even had a 90km run). Overall its not just the bike that matters its also the support.

Our dealer, MobilityUnlimited, John De Marco & Svend Petersen were outstanding. By far the best e-bikes/scooters for style, quality, power, price and advice, -- and delivery. I have had more people stop me and neighbors come over to ask me all about the Raven. I would sincerely recommend MobilityUnlimited to you. I’ve looked at the other e-bike web sites and compared their options, they don’t come close to the quality operation of MobilityUnlimited. How I found out about them, was shopping at WalMart/Rexdale, met two young ladies outside with two identical Yellow Diablos from MobilityUnlimited, who gave me ten minutes of their very enthusiastic time.  I was sold on the spot, couldn’t wait to get to their dealer.

There was an article in the Toronto Star on e-scooters, a man from Etobicoke travels Downtown to Parliament Street (gads) and back to Etobicoke at night on his e-scooter, costs .03 cents a day to recharge the battery, about $25.00 annually, with hard use. Used to ride his bike, but now -- no shower and trip time saved.

I feel great about electric mobility and this purchase, and I’m glad my dream didn’t get shattered, all my friendly neighbors were watching me and the old ‘Steve McQueen’ feeling came back and was there, and off I went. Not bad, who for a guy had two ischemic strokes and was paralyzed just 14 months ago, but I had a great therapist, Chris Ashdownn and together with my spirit, we beat this thing back, we keep in touch, Chris is an avid bike rider, and I know he’s pleased when stroke victims are not giving up.

So, here we are at .03 cents for many kilometers driven, what a feeling, what a bargain.
In all seriousness, I’m grateful to GOD for such recovery and joy!
Cheers!

Hi lads,

Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed having the Dancer scooters for the time we had them. There were so many things we were able to do having them that we would not have been able to do if we did not have them.  Also, we would like to let you know that we managed to get out of Toronto and are safely home. Bet you thought we were still going around and around on the motor ways..... Ha.
Thanks Much.

My Dearest Friends,

Thank you so very much for your help and so quickly coming up to me.  I am very happy now.

I have a big dream that you all become millionaires.  You all must sit together and study to find out how you can make electric cars.  The whole of Toronto will drive electric cars.  No more pollution.  God thanks I don’t pollute the world with my new scooter. Think about it – it is a dream but it will be a reality.  I will hand out your pamphlets carefully – no wasting.   First I know where I can put them up...the entrance to the IGA store where all the scooter drivers come in....the Post Office and Community Care. I will talk to all the people I know. OK.  So I will be busy this summer.  I have the best scooter in all the nation.

Thanks for your kindness and I wish you good business.
