Autumn Moon Festival 2006

The Autumn Moon
Festival, held in Chinatown East's historic crossroads of Broadview and
Gerrard Streets in downtown Toronto, celebrates seasonal change and the
opportunity to give thanks for a bountiful autumn harvest.
With a pedestrian street bazaar, entertainment, lion dance and mooncakes,
those delicious pastries filled with sweet bean paste and egg, and a few
welcoming remarks from the local politicians, the festival is held each
year during late September, and is free to the public.
